- Rooms are usually shared. (You may stay with other participants.)
- Donghwasa is in the mountains. To move between the temple buildings, you must walk up and down many steep slopes and stairs. This can be very difficult, especially for elderly people and pregnant women. Please think carefully before making your reservation.

- All participants (including companions) will receive a Final Information Message through WhatsApp.
If you have trouble finding the temple on the program day, please check the WhatsApp message first before calling us.
The message includes photos and a detailed link. It is faster and more correct than asking by phone.
- Please do NOT use any map or navigation apps you normally use (such as Google, Naver, Kakao, or T-Map) to search for “Donghwasa Templestay” or the address “Daegu Dong-gu Donghwasa 1-gil 1.”
These apps will guide you to the wrong location.
Therefore, we sincerely ask you to ensure you click the [Way to Temple] button located right here on the reservation page.

- If you booked without making an account, you must remember your password to check your reservation.
- When making a reservation, you must write the country code and phone number for each participant (not only the main booker). This is important for emergency contact.

- Cards only. We don’t accept cash, and we can’t provide change, so please keep that in mind if you’re paying on site.

- All programs are optional.
- The schedule may change depending on the weather or temple conditions.

- Please bring: towel, water bottle, toiletries, pen, socks, and sneakers.
- We provide a vest and pants for Temple Stay during your stay. (T-shirts and jackets are not provided.)
- Hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and toothpaste are available.
- Please note: Wi-Fi is not available.

- Donghwasa Temple is located in the mountains. There are many steep uphill paths and many stairs you must walk up and down.
Because of this, (although it is okay if you come by your own car, by uber or by taxi) bringing a travel suitcase here by public transportation is extremely, extremely difficult. It is almost impossible. A backpack is fine, but please do not bring a travel suitcase at all.
- For large or heavy luggage, please use the “Zim Carry” storage service at Dongdaegu Station (KTX) or Daegu Airport. https://zimcarry.net
- If the Zimcarry luggage storage service is unavailable, you will need to take a taxi or Uber. You cannot take large suitcases onto the bus because the driver will refuse to allow them on board.

- If you are taking a taxi or Uber and your driver tells you they cannot go further because of the barrier at the Bonghwangmun Ticket Office, you have two options.
The easiest way is to have your driver press the call button on the barrier and say, "I am a guest for the Templestay." The barrier will then open. If that is difficult or if there is any problem, please call me via WhatsApp at +82 10-4071-3975 and let me speak with your driver.

- Cancellation 4 days before the program → full refund
- Cancellation 3 days before → 50% refund
- Cancellation 2 days before → 10% refund
- Cancellation 1 day before or on the day → no refund

Cancel on August 16 → full refund
Cancel on August 17 → 50% refund
Cancel on August 18 → 10% refund

- Changing Your Reservation: If you wish to change your reservation date, please contact us first instead of canceling your reservation.

- It takes about 40–45 minutes by bus from “Dongdaegu Station Underpass 2” to “Donghwasa Temple” bus stop. Do not get off at Donghwagyo(Bridge)! Go one more stop.
The bus fare is 1,950 KRW one way. Cash is not accepted — only transportation cards.
In Korea, we use a transportation card called a "T-money card." You can buy it at convenience stores.
It works like a prepaid card — you put money on it and use it for buses and subways.
You can recharge (add money to) the card at convenience stores or subway stations.
