Since Buddhism was first officially introduced to Korea in 372 during the reign of King Sosurim of Goguryeo, it has had a profound influence on Korean life and spirit—shaping not only meditation, practice, and teachings but also art, literature, and architecture.
The growing interest of international visitors in experiencing Korean Buddhist culture is a testament to the fact that Buddhism represents one of the most authentically Korean traditions.

Program A includes Temple Tour and Tea Ceremony.
As you listen to explanations about the temple’s 1,200-year history, its architecture, and cultural relics, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the essence of Buddhist philosophy.
The tea ceremony, or dado, is a mindful practice of brewing and drinking tea in accordance with traditional etiquette. It is a way to cultivate inner peace and virtue through calm and deliberate movement.
As the gentle aroma of tea fills the air, we invite you to focus on the present moment—your body, breath, and the space around you.

※ Program reservations open one month before the scheduled date.
※ If you encounter any issues while booking due to a system error, please don’t hesitate to contact us via the email address below, and we will be happy to assist you.
