The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has inscribed Sansa, Buddhist Mountain Monasteries in Korea on the World Heritage List on 4th July, 2018. Magoksa a Korea’s millennial Buddhist temple is on the list. Magoksa Temple shows off its cultural and natural beauty all year round. It has Magokcheon the fantastic stream running across the center of the temple grounds. It has Goonwangdae Peak and Yeongsanjeon Hall where your prayer could get answered. :) * Yeongsanjeon Hall is said to be filled with such good energy of Goonwangdae Peak that is located just 15 mins hiking away from Myeongbujeon Hall. Come and visit Magoksa Temple and you can’t but fall in love with it. :)

What to bring?

*A uniform is provided during the stay. You should bring the following basic necessities: - toiletries - towel(s) - T-shirts and socks (It is mandatory to wear socks inside the Buddha Halls.) - personal water bottle(tumbler) - hiking boots or sneakers for walking in the mountain
