The Rest (The relaxation Templestay program) takes place Monday to Friday for 2days and 1 night throughout the year.
The Rest type offers only use of the room and the dining hall (the room contains only bedding). As this is a Rest type stay, we will provide guidance solely for your room. All other activities, including participation in prayer services and meals, should be managed independently.
Reservations can be made on days when there are no group temple stays, regular temple stays, or events at Tongdosa Temple. You can take a break from busy everyday life, staying in a calm and peaceful temple.

- Complete personal toiletries (towel), sneakers (comfortable footwear), personal medication, personal water bottle, comfortable clothing (outerwear and socks are essential)
- Temple cloth (vest & pants), hair dryer, soap, pillow cover and bedsheets are provided
※ Only bedding is provided in the rooms.

3~4 days before : 70% refundable
1~2 days before : 50% refundable

- Reservations that have not been paid for the participation fee will be automatically cancelled after a certain period.
- We recommend paying by credit card in the online reservation process(on the PC) for quick refunds.

1. Alcohol or smoking is not allowed.
2. Avoid shoulder embraces, excessive playfulness, or displays of affection, even when accompanied by friends or partners.
3. Refrain from loud or disruptive behavior.
4. Avoid attire or behavior that may cause displeasure to others.
5. Make an effort to attend morning and evening prayer services.
6. Adhere strictly to meal times.
7. When encountering monks, join hands respectfully and offer a bow.
8. Since this is a communal living space, always return shared items to their proper place after use.

Take bus number 1723 (Sinpyeong Terminal direction) from Taehwagang Station (first bus 6:25 / interval between buses 35-40 minutes)
