Five Elements Yin Yoga Night

Escape the city in five minutes. In the quiet grounds of Bongeunsa, a 1,200-year-old temple surrounded by Gangnam's skyline, discover a Korean wellness ritual that harmonizes body and mind through the Five Elements.

About the Program /
Five Elements Yin Yoga Night is a two-hour evening journey rooted in Korean traditional medicine and Buddhist stillness. Guided in English, the program weaves together the ancient theory of the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), gentle Yin Yoga that opens the body's meridians, traditional tea meditation, and a deeply restorative sound bath.
Set against the serene night atmosphere of Bongeunsa, this is more than a yoga class — it is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself in one of Seoul's most sacred spaces.

What You'll Experience /
1. Five Elements Reading & Tea Meditation (45 min)
Begin in the tea hall, where your personal energy is read through the lens of the Five Elements. Receive a traditional Korean tea matched to your nature, and settle into the present moment.

2. Five Elements Yin Yoga (50 min)
Move through a gentle Yin Yoga sequence designed around the body's meridian lines. Each posture is guided with insight into how it connects to your organs and emotions, in the tradition of Korean medicine.

3. Sound Bath & Meditation (20 min)
Lie back and let the resonance of singing bowls wash over you, guiding your body into deep rest and stillness.

4. Evening Temple Walk (15 min)
Close the evening with a quiet walk through the illuminated temple grounds, taking in the timeless beauty of Bongeunsa at night.
