This Rest Oriented Temple Program is year-round run type, appropriate for those who want rest and relaxation through lots of free time.
You do not need to attend all the activities or ceremonies.
Brief explanation on the temple etiquette will be given, in case requested.
Participants can spend time walking in the fir tree forest or the trail along the stream, joining Buddhist ceremonies or reading books etc.
Reservation should be made at least 3 days in advance.

What to bring?

*Templestay Uniforms(Only vest&pants) to be supplied.
*Soap, toothpaste, hair dryer are prepared in the rooms
Toiletries (including towel), Personal water bottle, Socks (bare foot not allowed in the temple) and sneakers, (slippers or flip-flops is not allowed), Other Personal clothes like long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirts (depending on the season)

Regulation

Be on time with the templestay program(especially on meal time) Don't make lound sounds.
No cigarette,no meat and no alcohol within the temple.
Proper attire is recommended.
Wear socks please.
Let us not stretch legs in front of a monk please.
